Journal Article Inflation?(Springer, 2022) Visser, UbboJournal Article Our Software Production is Still Some Sort of Hacking(Springer, 2020) Visser, UbboJournal Article ITP: Inverse Trajectory Planning for Human Pose Prediction(Springer, 2020) Peña, Pedro A.; Visser, UbboTracking and predicting humans in three dimensional space in order to know the location and heading of the human in the environment is a difficult task. Though if solved it will allow a robotic agent to know where it can safely be and navigate the environment without imposing any danger to the human that it is interacting with. We propose a novel probabilistic framework for robotic systems in which multiple models can be fused into a circular probabilitymap to forecast human poses. We developed and implemented the framework and tested it on Toyota’s HSR robot and Waymo Open Dataset. Our experiments show promising results.Journal AI and Robotics for the Human Brain Project II(Springer Nature, 2018) Visser, UbboJournal Robots in Committees(Springer Nature, 2018) Visser, UbboJournal Article AI and Robotics: RoboCup Evolution(Springer, 2016) Visser, UbboJournal Article An Adaptive LIPM-based Dynamic Walk using Model Parameter Optimization on Humanoid Robots(Springer, 2016) Seekircher, Andreas; Visser, UbboEven with the recent advances in the area of dynamic walking on humanoid robots there is still a significant amount of manual calibration required in practice due to the variances in the hardware. That is in order to achieve the performance needed in environments such as RoboCup. We present a LIPM-based closed-loop walk, that adapts to differences in the physical behavior of the robot by optimizing parameters of the model directly on the NAO while walking and executing other tasks. A significant amount of errors in the model predictions can be reduced without using a more complex model simply by adjusting the LIPM to fit the observed behavior. Our experiments show that the optimized model yields a more controlled, faster and even more energy-efficient walk on different NAO robots and on various surfaces without additional manual parameter tuning.Journal Article 20 Years of RoboCup(Springer, 2016) Visser, UbboJournal Article Semantic Web Reloaded: An Update on the Progress of Semantic Web technologies(Springer, 2016) Visser, UbboJournal Article KI Fachbereichspolitik und Künstliche Kognitive Systeme(Springer, 2015) Visser, Ubbo
