Simulation in den Umwelt- und Geowissenschaften - Grundprobleme und aktuelle Lösungsansätze

Abstract

This paper is intended as an introduction to the workshop with identical title. It tries to list problems and approaches for solution concerning recent research in environmental modeling and simulation in a subjective and uncomplete selection. For the fields of modeling, analysis of simulation data, software, and documentation the most relevant problems for the user are mentioned, and a discussion and valuation of the various solutions is initiated. Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag ist als Einführung in den Workshop gleichen Titels gedacht und möchte in subjektiver und unvollständiger Auswahl aktuelle Problem- und Forschungsbereiche aus dem Bereich der Umweltmodellierung und –simulation aufzeigen. Für die Problemkreise Modelle, Auswertungen, Software und Dokumentation werden jeweils die aktuellen Probleme für die Modellentwickler angesprochen und eine Diskussion und Einschätzung vonLösungsalternativen versucht.
