Abstract

This paper describes a number of different channels for bidirectional software engineering (SE) knowledge transfer between academia and medical device industry. The paper also brings the results of the gap analysis showing the discrepancy between the medical device industry needs and the curricula of relevant courses. We perform a case study of the Faculty of Organization and Informatics (FOI) at the University of Zagreb (Croatia).
